Sierra Club Endorsement

I am very excited to announce that the Sierra Club has decided to endorse me.  I value this endorsement a great deal since I am very concerned over a variety of environmental issues and consider myself an ardent environmentalist, and obviously the Sierra Club thinks so too.

I believe that they appreciate my views on smart growth, in order to fight urban sprawl, as well as my work to preserve and expand open space, such as securing $1.2 for improvements for San Pablo Park and my current work assisting in establishing the Berkeley Community Orchard in District 2 and in usher forward a $2.2 million dollar Costal Conservance Grant for Aquatic Park.  I hope that you join the Sierra Club in supporting me for my re-election race for City Council, District 2.
